The main visual theme of the video is the silhouette, and the movement of the musicians in each scene. The song Animal is about the journey from slavery to freedom, whether that is a self imposed slavery, physical slavery, or societal slavery. The main objective was to let the lyrics tell the story, and let the visual create the mood. Plus, this is just a great rock song, by a great rock band.
